DIY coffee bar from target for under $225
When our little girl hit about 3 years old I felt like I finally had a little more freedom to change out some of our baby safe furniture for something more grown up. I bought and assembled a large stand alone pantry which we use for her toy closet in our living room. Its perfect! Her toys are out of sight yet still accessible. I also bought a bamboo book shelf for our entire family, and the same white cabinet used for this coffee bar. But we use ours for arts and crafts storage with candles, a candle lantern and wax warmer on top.
I was recently asked by a friend if I can design and decorate a coffee bar. She just moved into a new condo and has a small corner in her kitchen that she wants a coffee bar. Her home vibe is very bohemian. She has a ton of plants, neutral colors and materials, and lots of natural lighting. This coffee bar is going next to sliding doors that lead from her kitchen to her outdoor patio, which I am also helping her decorate.
For her coffee bar, she already has a single cup Keurig machine, a gorgeous macrame tapestry, and a wooden wall shelf that I will be hanging above the cabinet. I was given a spending budget of $250 and this is what I came up with. This is such a fun gig. Check out all of these items and more at target.com.
