Our family started early on our spring cleaning this year. Here is the list we are using from Pinterest.   Tomorrow we are working on windows along with putting some vegi seeds in soil. Since we live in an apartment with a medium sized backyard, we don't have much outdoor work to do.  Letting our 4 year old daughter Brooklyn help out with the cleaning and gardening keeps her busy and further makes her feel appreciated. When our little girl hit about 3 years old I felt like I finally had a little more freedom to change out some of our baby safe furniture for something more grown up. I bought and assembled a large stand alone pantry which we use for her toy closet in our living room. Its perfect! Her toys are out of sight yet still accessible. We have made several changes around our home to reduce household cost in bills, cleaning products, etc. Buying reusable items such as reusable zipper food bags, dish rags instead of the scrubbers that get tossed out weekly, and (my fav) wool dryer balls, surely has reduced our monthly household costs. We no longer buy Ziplock bags, dryer sheets and dish scrubbers. That alone has saved use nearly $40 a month. With inflation on the rise, we have taken some of our favorite meals and switched them up a bit to make more room in our grocery budget. We have been using all of the available space in our freezer for individual Costco packs of chicken, homemade soups and beans.  To cut back on the cost of groceries we have reduced the amount of prepackaged snacks we buy for our 4 year old daughter and buy large boxes in which we portion out ourselves.
